That is why, as we look ahead to 2026, Insight Consulting Services (ICS) is pledging to continue its support for Médecins Sans Frontières (MSF) / Doctors Without Borders through ongoing monthly donations. We began making monthly contributions in the second half of 2025, and we are proud to carry that support forward.
For our Group CEO, Richard Collins, giving back has always been a fundamental part of building a business. This belief is proudly embedded in our core values and reflected in the impact we want to create.
We wanted to support a charity we could trust to reach the people who need it most, one that responds quickly, uses funds effectively, and makes a real difference on the ground. After looking at a variety of options, MSF stood out.
MSF works in more than 70 countries, providing urgent medical care wherever it is needed, regardless of politics, religion, or nationality. What struck us was their independence, transparency, and the reassurance that as much of each donation as possible supports frontline medical operations.
The figures shared by MSF speak volumes:
• 79p of every £1 goes directly to medical operations.
• Every £1 spent on fundraising raises £6.32.
• Only 8p per £1 is spent on UK support costs.
At ICS, we think a lot about impact, whether that is helping public sector organisations get the most from their resources, or supporting communities through social value and responsible business. Choosing MSF felt like a natural extension of that principle, making sure every pound counts.
Continuing our monthly support into 2026 is our way of ensuring that the help we can offer is consistent, reliable, and aligned with the principles we bring to our work every day.
We are sharing this not because we think we have found “the one true answer”, but because we know many organisations wrestle with the same dilemma when choosing a cause to support. If you are considering your own social value or charitable commitments, MSF is one example of a charity that is transparent, efficient, and able to reach people in the toughest circumstances.
