This year marks ten years since we started Insight Executive. We built it to do recruitment differently, relationship led, clearer briefs, and decisions grounded in evidence, not views.
Ten years on, what’s surprised me most isn’t just the growth it’s how the businesses have evolved. Client needs rarely arrive neatly labelled. Recruitment decisions are often tied directly to business strategy, delivery capability or transformation, rather than just a like to like replacements of staff. Rather than stretch one brand to cover everything, we built specialist businesses around what clients were already asking us to solve.
That’s how Insight Executive Group came to bring together three specialist businesses:
• Insight Executive (IE): UK recruitment across our key specialisms from critical single hires to multi-role campaigns across public and private sector
• Insight Executive Solutions (IES): North American executive search and specialist recruitment across FM and construction, now two years in, growing with key clients in Texas and New York.
• Insight Consulting Services (ICS): UK consultancy supporting public sector organisations with capital project and estates strategy, delivery and change.
ICS has had a strong year, and 2026 will be a key growth focus. Estates decisions are under increasing pressure and even more challenging governance. Clients need support that’s practical, evidence-led, and built for delivery.
A key highlight in 2025 was Kevin Hogan joining the team. Kevin brings a wealth of experience, a calm delivery style, and a level of technical credibility that clients recognise quickly. He has already strengthened our capability and the way we shape and run our work.
Kevin is also an engineer by background, which means ICS now has two engineers in Board positions. I can’t say the meetings have become more exciting, but they become even more precise and data-driven!
In 2026, our focus will be disciplined growth and delivery that stands up to scrutiny. We’re expanding our footprint beyond London and the South-East, winning and delivering meaningful work across new regions, and converting trusted national relationships into project-level support where estates challenges are most urgent. We’ll also be adding to our delivery capability so we can respond at pace without compromising quality.
Before we turn the page on the year, I want to say thank you. To the directors I’ve worked alongside for the last decade – your trust, candour and standards have shaped this business more than you’ll know. To our teams across IE, IES and ICS, I thank you for the work you do so diligently: the rigour, the follow-through, and the care you show to clients, candidates and projects alike.
And to the wider network around us – thank you for backing us, challenging us, recommending us, and growing with us. Ten years in, we’re still building the same way: properly, and for the long term.
From all of us at Insight Executive Group, we wish you a healthy, happy New Year, and we look forward to working with you in 2026.
